• Due to the forecast for extreme weather conditions this weekend, the Lower Providence Parks and Recreation Department regrets to announce that we’ve made the difficult decision to cancel the July 4^th Celebration and Fireworks. We understand that this change may cause an inconvenience for you, and we are sincerely sorry, but the circumstances are beyond our control. We’re working to reschedule the fireworks for a later date.
   
  This decision was made to ensure the safety of our community residents, businesses, volunteers, organizations, and staff. We are very saddened that we are unable to hold our event and we thank you for your understanding and continued support.
