I Survived My Audition! Workshop class
Join Firebird Theatre this fall for a 10 week intensive audition workshop that will prepare you for your next round of musical theater auditions. You will prepare or update your theatrical resume, get a new head shot taken, memorize and perform a monologue, learn a new song for your repertoire in your vocal range, do cold readings, learn basic dance combinations and much more!
Participants will learn from acting teachers, vocal coaches and choreographers who have been selected because of their experience motivating and training young performers.
This 10 week workshop is designed to develop performance skills through training in acting, speech, improvisation, scene and monologue work, theater games, singing and dancing. As a performer one is always learning and honing their craft. So even if you have taken this class before you will receive a new song for your vocal range to add to your repertoire, he will learn how to create and or update your resume and receive a headshot for those important auditions.
This workshop is jampacked with fun and instruction! On Monday, November 20 participants will take everything that they have learned and participate in a mock "audition" for their teachers and a panel of Firebird Theatre directors in front of family and friends.
You will go home with a souvenir T-shirt, a copy of your new professional resume and two copies of your new headshot, and armed with everything you need to be successful at your next audition!
