Students will experiment with weaving, mosaics, fluid arts, alcohol ink, and various mixed-media techniques while learning foundational skills and discovering their personal style. Guided by an experienced instructor, each session introduces a new material or process, encouraging curiosity, confidence, and creative play. Perfect for artists of all levels who want to explore, experiment, and make art in a supportive, hands-on environment. Week 1: Kinusaiga —  use fabric scraps to create a 'quilted' painting. Week 2: Acrylic pouring — use various acrylic mediums to create mesmerizing fluid art. Week 3: Simple loom weaving — learn basic weaving techniques to craft a small fiber arts piece. Week 4: Woodburning  — use a heated 'pen' to burn designs into wood.  Week 5: Mosaics — design and assemble colorful bead mosaics. Students will experiment with weaving, mosaics, fluid arts, alcohol ink, and various mixed-media techniques while learning foundational skills and discovering their personal style. Guided by an experienced instructor, each session introduces a new material or process, encouraging curiosity, confidence, and creative play. Perfect for artists of all levels who want to explore, experiment, and make art in a supportive, hands-on environment. Week 1: Kinusaiga —  use fabric scraps to create a 'quilted' painting. Week 2: Acrylic pouring — use various acrylic mediums to create mesmerizing fluid art. Week 3: Simple loom weaving — learn basic weaving techniques to craft a small fiber arts piece. Week 4: Woodburning  — use a heated 'pen' to burn designs into wood.  Week 5: Mosaics — design and assemble colorful bead mosaics. We are offering the American Red Cross Babysitting Course.This certification course provides teens with the confidence and skills to care for youngsters. Prospective employers will be happy to hire babysitters who have acquired this official recognition. You will also learn basic first aid and have an introduction to CPR.  We will discuss etiquette for being home alone, while caring for youngsters.  We will discuss professionalism, safety, age-appropriate activities, basic care, and first aid. Upon completion of the course, you will receive an ARC Certification Card.  You must attend the entire course, pass the evaluations, and show the maturity to properly care for children. Please bring a lunch, pencil and drink.

Children will participate in games, arts & crafts, free play time and other activities. Our classes will feature instruction in singing, dancing, acting audition readiness, theatrical make-up and more! Every night will be different, and you will learn the basics from experts in each specialty. Each session ends with a brief parent presentation.The curriculum for the class will be to perform a series of holidays scenes, skits and songs from popular stories! Spooky stories in September and October, Holiday theme in November and December.  Actors will participate in a guest presentation at the end of the course. Instructor: Janet Hoehl
