The Counselor in Training program is designed to provide youths too old to attend summer camp but too young for employment. This program is an opportunity to develop leadership skills to broaden their understanding of what it means to take on more responsible role in a camp setting. The C.I.T. position is an educational program that exposes those enrolled to the responsibilities of a summer camp counselor. The Counselor in Training program is designed to provide youths too old to attend summer camp but too young for employment. This program is an opportunity to develop leadership skills to broaden their understanding of what it means to take on more responsible role in a camp setting. The C.I.T. position is an educational program that exposes those enrolled to the responsibilities of a summer camp counselor. C.I.T. Program 2026 - Summer C.I.T. Program
The Counselor in Training program is designed to provide youths too old to attend summer camp but too young for employment. This program is an opportunity to develop leadership skills to broaden their understanding of what it means to take on more responsible role in a camp setting. The C.I.T. position is an educational program that exposes those enrolled to the responsibilities of a summer camp counselor. Lil' Perkiomy Camp is designed for preschool children aged 4.5 to 5 years old who may have been in a day care or preschool setting throughout the school year. Children will participate in games, arts & crafts, free play time and other activities. "Special Guests" are scheduled throughout the summer. A weekly newsletter will be emailed to you so you can prepare yourself and your camper for loads of fun each week. In case of inclement weather, camp moves into the Township Building. Lil' Perkiomy Camp site is managed by a qualified staff of a Site Supervisor along with Camp Counselors.Reminder: Please read over the parent handbook and check out the activity calendar to become familiar with Lil' Perkiomy Camp.
