1:00 PM - 4:00 PM	Shining Knights Chess Camp - Chess Club Camp Spend a week playing and learning about chess from the Shining Knights chess coaches! Our coaches are highly-rated professional chess instructors. We have taught tens of thousands of children, including the 2008 national champions for first and second grade and the 2009 national kindergarten champion. Campers are broken up into groups by skill level, so we accept anyone from total beginners up through experienced and highly-rated tournament players.  Activities include learning openings, tactics, endgames, studying master games, playing games against fellow students, and analyzing the students’ games.Whether your new to the game, learning to pus pawns for the first time or have played in numerous tournaments and want to sharpen your skills, come to Shining Knights Chess Camp! We have trained numerous state champions and national trophy winners. We have trained even more kids to enjoy the games that they can spend hours playing with friends and family. Each camper receives a T-shirt and a tournament-style chess set!

Wednesday September 9, 2026
5:30 PM - 6:30 PM	Firebird Theatre: Musical Theatre & Acting Workshops - Class I - Wednesdays Youth Musical Theatre & Acting Class Whether your child is a first time actor or a seasoned performer looking to hone their skills, come and spend Monday or Wednesday nights with our Firebird Theatre instructors for this exciting musical theatre workshop. Our classes will feature instruction in singing, dancing, acting audition readiness, theatrical make-up and more! Every night will be different, and you will learn the basics from experts in each specialty. Each session ends with a brief parent presentation.The curriculum for the class will be to perform a series of holidays scenes, skits and songs from popular stories! Spooky stories in September and October, Holiday theme in November and December.  Actors will participate in a guest presentation at the end of the course. Instructor: Janet Hoehl
